So I'm approaching my first month-a-versary as a Freelance Writer!  So far I have written 14 online articles and 7 ghost written articles.  Not bad for a month.  I have made a total of $22.62.  Now this amount might seem really insignificant, but it feels like I've earned a million bucks!  This is the first time in my 37 years of living that I am doing something that I really enjoy.  I have been working non-stop for all of my adult life, but I have always done what I needed to do, but this is different.  This is something I want to do, something that brings me pleasure.  I'm happy!

So now it's time that I set some goals for myself.  I'm going to start off with weekly goals.  I want to write more blogs (so far I have mostly been posting my Daily Motivators).  I want this blog to chronicle my highs and lows,  what I am learning, and my growth.  Maybe someday this blog will inspire someone else, the way that The Self-employed Writer inspired me. I guess it's like "Paying it Forward."

I also need to learn more about key words and SEO so that I can drive more traffic to my on-line content.  I'm trying hard not to get ahead of myself here.  The possibilities are endless, but I don't want to bite off more than I can chew.  There are so many people who are living their lives on their own terms.  They are punching their own clocks, being their own boss, and making a living.  I want to be one of those people too...there is enough for everyone!

My ultimate goal is to create the life that I want to live.  Not just any life, but the best life. I'm on my way!
