Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by none other than Parajunkee and Alison Can Read, two super cool awesome bloggers! Follow Friday is a great way to connect with other bloggers - meet, mingle, and hop!
This week's questions is:
When you read a book, what do you do with it? (Keep it, give it away, donate it, sell it, swap it?)
I must admit that I too am a book hoarder! I have such a hard time parting with books. I don't mind lending them on occasion, but only to people that I know will take care of the book. Don't you hate it when you loan a book to someone and it's all beat up when you get it back??? Drives me a little nuts...well a lot nuts actually! Every now and then I will give a book away, but not as often as I should. The truth is I will probably never read most of the books again, so why not donate them or give them away? I guess I can add that to my 2012 to-do list! LOL
i am a book hoarder too.

The mass majority of the books I read are still in this house. However, I have donated some & loan most I read to a friend. (I know she will take care of my books and gives them back.) I've given a stack here and there to my tribal library on the reservation, there YA section sucks!!

ReplyDeleteNew follower. I'm so there with you. I have recently had to give away a lot of my books, but that's because I'm running out of space. So I now give away books I will not read anymore. good answer. Come visit me as well.

I'm definitely a hoarder too - the house is full of sagging shelves and double-parked books!
ReplyDeleteWell done on the 42,000 words - that's quite an achievement. Give yourself a great big Christmassy pat on the back! Happy holidays.
