100 Followers GIVEAWAY!

I have hit a milestone!  I now have 100 followers. I cannot begin to tell you how proud and happy I am for this achievement.  When I started blogging I could have never imagined that I would enjoy it so very much.  I have encountered some amazing blogs and interacted with incredible people.  The blogging community ROCKS!

So what have I learned from this experience so far?  

I have learned that blogging takes commitment and dedication.  “There’s a blog born every half second,” I was amazed when I read that statistic on Cash Campfire a couple of weeks ago.  Most of these blogs are not expected to make it to the one year mark. This is understandable considering the amount of time and effort it takes to maintain a blog.  If you don’t post regularly, people won’t make the effort to visit your blog. It’s that simple.

I have also learned that blogging is not just about reading and writing, it’s about relationships.  As strange as that may sound, there is a camaraderie between bloggers.  Everyone is open to sharing what they’ve learned and experienced on their own journey. You pick up tidbits of good solid information and a few quirky things too. Blogging is information at it’s best.  It’s a grassroots movement toward whatever enlightenment you seek. 

What’s next?

I don’t have any plans of stopping now, I’m having too much fun! I hope that this blog will continue to grow and evolve.  I want to have more author interviews and read more books. I hope to host guest bloggers and perhaps do a few guest posts myself. More than anything I hope to pay it forward.  I hope that I will have the pleasure of helping someone else the same way so many have helped me.  This is just the beginning.
