She chronicles her adventures of meeting several of the wrong men, falling for a complicated man, and enjoying great sex along the way. The book is very tastefully written, she makes no bones about the fact that she enjoys sex and that she has missed it in the 30 years since her divorce. It was refreshing to see a woman that was not afraid to explore her own sexuality, even in her later years. She peels back her layers like an onion, exposing her vulnerabilities and desires, not just to her partners, but to the reader as well.
Quite an entertaining read, to be enjoyed by women of all ages, and maybe a few men too! How liberating to be able to say "I like sex" or "I want sex" out loud! Many woman think it, but most refrain from making it public for fear of being judged. There is no harm in enjoying sex, after all we are humans and humans are sexual creatures. We could all stand to learn a few things from Miss Jane. May we all develop "round-heels" at some point in our lives....if we're lucky!
